心靈環保全民宣言

 

我願，從自身做起，從內心出發。
I vow to start with myself, and initiate from within.

 

在行為上時時刻刻，用感恩、感謝、感化、感動的心，
認知天地萬物給我們的恩澤。
In all my actions,
I will acknowledge the bounty given to me by all beings
through gratitude,thankfulness,self-reform and moving others through virtue. 

    

 

在生活上隨時隨地，
以知福、惜福、培福、種福的行動，
感念天地萬物給我們的包容。
In my daily life,
I will always and everywhere be grateful
to what has been bestowed on me
by recognizing, cherishing, nurturing, and sowing blessings.

 

 

在生命學習的過程中，
用安心、安身、安家、安業的方法，
來建設人間的淨土。
As I learn throughout my life,
I will endeavor to build a pure land on earth by cultivating a peaceful mind,
peaceful body, peaceful family, and peaceful activity.

 

 

遇到問題時，
用面對它、接受它、處理它、放下它的決心，
承擔負責、累積經驗。
給自己、給他人，永遠留一條生路。
When encountering a problem
I resolve to face it, accept it, deal with it,
and then let it go,
while taking responsibility and
accumulating experience,
always giving myself and others a way to move forward.
 

 

正需要人做，而沒人做的事，就由我來學習著做吧。
盡心盡力第一，不爭你我多少。
When something needs to be done but no one is doing it,
then I will learn to do it,
making wholehearted effort without competing with others.

 

 

我願，以利益他人作為利益自己的方法；
以止惡、行善，來關懷大地的環境。
I vow to benefit others to benefit myself,
and to care for the natural environment
by refraining from evil and doing good.

 

 

我願，以實踐心靈環保，
來作為個人在家庭、生活、校園、自然、職場和族群中的使命和奉獻。
I vow to carry out protection of the spiritual environment
through a lifelong commitment to contributing to my family,
school, work place, society, natural environment, and daily life.
 

 

我相信，心靈環保的推廣，是給自己的大好機會，
是給後代子孫的大好希望，願人人的品質提昇，
願淨土在人間實現。
I believe that promoting protection of the spiritual environment
gives me a great opportunity and great hope for future generations
to uplift their character and build a pure land on earth.
